Katie Miller

Women's Jiu-Jitsu Instructor

Katie Miller

Katie Miller is a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and an active competitor with over a decade of martial arts experience. She has medaled in a dozen grappling competitions, both gi and no-gi. When she is not coaching, Katie can be found at the Modern Martial Arts and Fitness wrestling classes, where she continues to add new skills to her game.

Katie has a diverse athletic background. In college, she was the captain of the club rugby team and ran triathlons, and in high school she competed on the varsity softball and cross country teams. While she still enjoys these sports recreationally, Katie fell in love with Jiu-Jitsu the first time she stepped on the mats after college and knew it would become an important part of her life. Her goal is to train until she is 100 years old.
